SIKER wall sconce: a green glass shade
The green tinted glass bowl, 16 cm wide and 19 cm high, colours the light at the moment it passes through the wall of the shade. Switched off, it reads as an object of frank colour on a pale wall; switched on, it casts a plant-like tint on the surfaces nearby. This chromatic freedom places it among the most distinctive models in our wall sconces.
The E27 LED bulb is supplied, drawing 4W for a maximum permitted power of 100W. The beam covers 3 to 5 metres and is chosen between 3000K warm white and 4000K cool white, two results that noticeably change the perceived tint of the glass. The brightness cannot be varied from the fitting.
The mount follows the dimensions of the body, which gives a compact whole that is easy to repeat in a row. Above a kitchen worktop, at the edge of a dining room, near a desk or on either side of the bedside, the colour alone is enough to bring a bare wall to life. Its IP20 rating reserves it for dry rooms, with a 90 to 260V AC supply.
