GIBIHU, an ultramarine fluted cylinder: the colour that tips a wall over
The ultramarine of GIBIHU is a deep, saturated blue that stands clearly apart from the usual finishes on light fittings. It covers a fluted aluminium cylinder 12 cm wide and 10 cm high, mounted on an 8 cm base. Among wall sconces, this one takes on a strong decorative role despite its modest dimensions.
The G9 cap awaits an LED bulb of 10 W at most, to be ordered separately. The flutes scatter the light into fine lines and soften the contrast with the intense blue. A warm white source at 3000 K stops it turning to a cold blue once lit.
On a white wall, the ultramarine acts like a small painting and is enough to give the room an identity. The compact format allows it to be installed where a standing lamp would not fit, in a recess or beside a door. Supply at 220-240V, IP20 rating for dry rooms, fixings not included.
