DOVOLOS: beige marble as a light diffuser
A piece of beige marble mounted on metal, 17 cm wide for 22 cm high: the stone itself filters the light and hints at its veining once switched on. Switched off, it stays a mineral object set on the wall. This is the most tactile version of vintage-inspired wall sconces.
Two temperatures are possible, warm white 3000 K and cool white 4000 K, for a reach of 3 to 5 metres. The 10 W LED source is not supplied, which leaves the rendering to be chosen at installation. The marble softens the beam and avoids hard edges on the wall.
The marble and metal mix works in an entrance, above a sideboard or along a staircase, wherever the object is met close up. The vintage spirit goes with panelling as well as with walls painted in deep tones. A 90-260 V supply, IP20 protection for dry indoor spaces.
