DAPUGU: a retro shade and its touch of colour
All in metal, it takes up the conical silhouette of workshop shades and dresses it in bold colours: white, yellow, pink, red or black. The shape is simple, the shade does the rest, and the wall gains an immediate graphic accent that quieter wall sconces rarely give.
The supplied E27 LED bulb delivers 12 W, with a choice between warm white 3000 K, natural white 3000 K and cool white 4000 K, for a reach of 3 to 5 metres. The shade concentrates the beam downwards, which suits lighting a precise surface. The brightness stays fixed.
Its 18 cm diameter, 33 cm height and 12.5 cm mounting plate give it an assured presence without getting in the way. It finds its place above a worktop, in a teenager's bedroom or along an entrance wall. Dry rooms only, as its IP20 rating specifies.
