TEHU wall sconce: a touch of colour with a retro scent
The lacquered metal takes on shades of red, of green or of beige here, in a tiny format 14 cm wide by 10 cm high. The compact proportions and the frank colours recall the domestic lights of past decades, without heavy pastiche. This vintage reading sets it apart within our wall sconces, where coloured models remain rare.
The 5W G4 LED, supplied with the light, produces a 3000K warm white over a stated range of 3 to 10 metres. This low power combined with a wide spread makes it a secondary point of light, to be multiplied rather than left on its own. The brightness is not adjustable.
The 8 cm diameter mount suits narrow partitions and wall returns. In a trio above a bedside, as punctuation along a dining room or as an accent in a living room with a Scandinavian spirit, the colour does all the decorative work. Its IP65 rating withstands splashes of water, with a 90 to 260V AC supply.
