The metal base and the acrylic bowl give this design a vintage look without heavy nostalgia, and it sits easily among our wall sconces. The gold, grey, silver and rose gold finishes let you match the fitting to the other metals in the room. Two sizes exist, 20 cm in diameter by 21 cm high, or 28 cm by 30 cm.
The E27 cap leaves the choice of bulb open, not supplied, with an output planned around a warm white at 3000K. The light carries 3 to 5 metres, a distance suited to targeted accent lighting. The acrylic lets the flow filter through gently rather than throwing it back in one block.
Gold works particularly well above a bedside, in a study or on either side of a fireplace. Its contained size means you can fit a pair without crowding the wall. Reserved for dry rooms, it suits living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and dining rooms.
