The glass and metal of this design form an elongated silhouette 15 cm in diameter and 34 cm high, making it one of the tallest wall sconces of its kind. The clear, grey, blue and amber shades noticeably change the colour of the light given back. The drawing, at once vintage and minimalist, stays legible from a distance.
Its IP44 rating lets it face water splashes, a rare feature on this kind of decorative fitting. The E27 LED bulb supplied gives a warm white 3000K and carries up to 15 metres. The glass channels the flow upwards and downwards, along the wall.
That resistance opens up spots often out of bounds for decorative sconces, such as a ventilated shower room or a sheltered porch. The 34 cm mount matches the height of the body and stretches the line. Indoors, it dresses a hallway or frames a door.
