LEVO wall sconce: a ceramic cube with a soft light
This wall sconce pairs a 14 cm cube of white ceramic with glass diffusers. The matt, almost chalky surface catches daylight quite differently from lacquered metal. The two glazed openings protect the source and soften its brightness.
An E27 LED of 15 W at most is enough to feed both beams, in 3000K natural white. The light spreads vertically and leaves the centre of the wall in a soft half-light, an effect that is welcome at the end of the day. Expect a reach of 3 to 10 metres.
White ceramic goes unnoticed on a pale wall and gains relief on a strong paint colour. The cube works on its own above a sideboard, or in a regular row along a slightly long hallway. Reserved for dry rooms at IP20, it wires into 220-240V.
