BELUBO, ceramic paired with glass: a half-circle of subdued light
This model combines two materials: a white ceramic structure and a glass diffuser that softens the source. The half-circle drawing extends over 32 cm wide and 14 cm high, with a controlled depth that does not eat into the space. In a family of wall sconces, this pairing of an opaque material and a translucent one is what separates a diffuse light from a direct beam.
The bulb with a G9 cap, not included, is limited to 8 W in LED. At 3000K, the warm white filtered through the glass gives an even light, with no overly bright area. The reach of 3 to 10 metres corresponds to ambient lighting covering a good part of a room.
Placed above a bed, a sideboard or in an entrance hall, it draws a horizontal line that balances vertical volumes. The Scandinavian style translates here into a restrained shape and a pale palette, easy to combine. Use remains indoors according to the IP20 rating, on 220-240 V, and fixings are not supplied.
