TEHORAN, the bear or the rabbit: a night light that reassures
White acrylic and aluminium make up a rounded silhouette, a bear or a rabbit depending on the version chosen. The all-white finish and the absence of sharp angles make the object deliberately soft to look at. In a child's bedroom, a wall sconce of this kind takes over from the lamp on the night table, so often knocked over.
The G9 LED supplied delivers 9 W and can be dimmed, from a discreet night light to a reading light. Warm white at 3000K for falling asleep, cool white at 4000K for homework time: both temperatures are available. The beam covers 3 to 5 metres, easily enough to light a bed and its surroundings.
Its 23 cm width by 20 cm height stay in scale with a bedroom wall, above the bedside or near a bookshelf. The pared-back drawing avoids an overly childish effect and follows the child as they grow. The IP20 rating means dry rooms, on an AC supply of 110 to 240 V.
