A 60 cm wooden arm carries a shade 20 cm in diameter, set 30 cm out from the wall. The pairing of wood, acrylic and metal gives wall sconces that are at once Nordic and graphic, in the spirit of art deco lines. The white of the shade keeps the whole thing bright.
The 15 W LED is supplied and lights over 3 to 5 metres. The reach of the arm places the source above the seat or the reading plane, where the light is genuinely useful. The shade closes the beam downwards and limits stray spill towards the ceiling.
