SUTISUR: woven wicker for a handcrafted light
This wall sconce pairs woven wicker with a wooden base, in a natural beige that lets every strand show. The weave, irregular by nature, gives the piece a handcrafted character impossible to reproduce identically. The plant material takes on a gentle patina and gains in depth.
The E26 cap takes an LED bulb in a warm white of 3000K, to be planned for separately since it is not supplied. The stated reach of 3 to 5 metres corresponds to secondary use rather than to main lighting. The light passes through the weave and casts a network of fine shadows.
20 cm high and fixed on a plate 10 cm in diameter, it stays discreet on a bedroom or living room wall. Its IP65 rating lets it cope with the damp of a bathroom. The beige of the wicker goes with pale wood, undyed cotton and limewashed walls.
